It all depends on the number of users, computers, and servers you have in your workplace. After speaking with you about your requirements, NICTION TECH will put together a custom proposal that covers all of your equipment and provides the services needed to keep your business running smoothly on a daily basis.

Our managed services plan covers 24/7 monitoring and maintenance of your server equipment as well as monitoring and maintenance of your workstations during regular business hours. The core components of every support plan are:

If you’re a current client and have a tech problem, you can call the main office number and speak with an engineer right away. You can also email our engineering team at info@nictiontech.com. If your issue arises after hours and you are a contracted customer, you can call the after-hours support line and an engineer will answer the phone (or call you right back if you leave a voicemail message).

 Our Help Desk can assist with a variety of issues, such as problems with a Microsoft Office product or other business applications (as long as you maintain a support agreement with the software vendor).

NICTION TECH’s standard client contract is a three-year agreement with an easy-out clause. It says “Client shall have the right to, at their discretion, terminate this Agreement for any reason as long as a 30-day notice has been provided.”

Although we don’t think you’ll want to, this clause means that you can cancel the agreement at any point in time during that three-year period, for any reason.

We invoice on monthly basis and payment is due on invoicing.

All projects we take up carry the following guarantees:

  • We sign NDA and Confidentiality Agreements as required by you.
  • All our employees are full-time employees, and are bound by the company’s Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure clauses.
  • Additionally, for sensitive projects, we create isolated cells disconnected from any public network.
  • At a practical level, all CD-Writers need authorization for usage. Internet uploads larger than a threshold also need authorization.

Yes; in some cases we bear project risks even before the first payment.

Our pricing is based on a long term relationship aimed at giving maximum benefits to our customers.

Yes we do, whenever required. This may be especially useful in initial requirements gathering, final implementation or other pain points. In such cases, our consultants will work on-site at pre-decided rates.

We will send you regular project status reports. We use a combination of pre-determined update schedules (normally email) and ad-hoc meetings (usually tele-conferences, or live chat).

Solution Analysts welcomes you to try our services. You may choose to have us do a Pilot Project. We have always succeeded in continuing the relationship after demonstration of ability in a pilot project.

Our preferred Pilot Project is either the first sub-system of a larger project, or an independent project that completes within itself. Pilot Projects are typically within 2-4 weeks’ duration.

We invest the same time and energy in Pilot Projects as real projects. You would find the pilot of sufficient quality to continue on the same code. In this sense, Pilots are very different from prototypes.

It depends on the situation. We will ask you to provide some information if necessary.

Yes. Our developers can follow your coding standards in your favor.

You can use Subversion (SVN) or Concurrent Versions System (CVS) to access code during the development cycle.
